Camp Day 3 and 4

Although it is early on Day 4, I wanted to do a second installment of pictures. Today some of the kids will be rock climbing, and I hope to get some great shots of that later on. Enjoy! See you tomorrow!

Camp Pictures: Day 1 and 2

Hi Parents! We have survived the Camp Halloween Bash, and are finished with day 2 already! WOW. The kids are doing great. They are now showered, full, and happy after the amazing turkey dinner we had tonight. I tried uploading a slideshow of some pictures I have been taking, but my website and the slow internet are preventing me from uploading. Instead I linked it privately to YouTube, which you can access here. Your kids are amazing! Keep checking the website, if I have enough time I’ll do another video on day 4. See you Friday!

September Conferences

Conference Week is the Week of September 19th. Please be advised that the students are dismissed at 12:45 each day. I have received replies from many of you regarding acceptable conference times. According to those replies, here is the schedule so far, arranged using your child’s last name. If you haven’t replied, please look at the times that are highlighted yellow, choose one that works for you and email me. I will put you in. Also, if for some reason you need to change your time, please consult the schedule to find an open time. It is important that you arrive on time, with your child, so we can maximize our short 20 minutes. Thanks! Mrs. A

Welcome Class of 2011-2012!

If you are reading this then you are have successfully found your way to Mrs. Antrim’s website! Here, you will find updates about field trips, class parties, and other important informations, so check often. Also, please get in the habit of checking the homework page, as it will be updated daily with assignments.

Don’t forget that there is NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY for students. Parents: Please plan on coming to Back to School Night on Thursday, August 25th. I am excited to meet all of you, and to give you an overview of my curriculum and teaching style.

Valentine’s Day Party Information

For our Valentine Day celebration we will be having a little party. Students may bring Valentine Day cards if they want. If they choose to, they should bring one for everyone. There are 29 students in our class. Additionally, we have decided to do a gift exchange. Each student has already chosen another’s name and is responsible for buying a $5-$10 gift for that student. The fun part is, the gift must match the students initials! For example:

If I chose Jane Doe, I could buy her Jelly Bellies and a Dollar, or Jeweled Doo-dads, or a Jamba Juice and a Dr. Pepper.

BE CREATIVE!
